What is the difference between Hyphen, CMI, and the Singles Ministry of the Sunday School Division?

We are a ministry that is focused on the 18-30 ages demographic, while Campus Ministry focuses on college students, and the Singles ministry of the Sunday School division focuses on the broader singles population. Our focus is streamlined, but we will work cooperatively alongside both ministries.

What are you going to do first?

2009 and 2010 will be the launch phase of the ministry. We are interested in:

1. Raising national awareness. We will be doing regional events.
2. Collecting resources. We want our web site to be a repository of grass roots resources for our movement.
3. Challenging and equipping districts to host Young Adult events. We would like to see every church and district facilitating Young Adult events and ministry.

Each district structure will be left up to the respective district for at least the first two years. We will be glad to help facilitate while each local church and district finds its appropriate Young Adult strategy.

Who is your team?

Our national team consists of a Director, Regional Directors, an Administrator, a Marketing Director, a Communications Director and a Young Adult Liaison. Our job is to:

1. Collect resources.
2. Be a regional representative for Hyphen.
3. Fulfill different necessary tasks for the Hyphen Launch.
4. Meet the needs of the Young Adult population of the UPCI.

What is the purpose of this web site?

The role of our web site is to compile resources, communicate to Young Adults, and equip local ministries.´
