Its during this particular time in life that we are making our decisions and have more resources than we had in youth (12-18). Most of the greatest transitions in life transpire in this age bracket (18-25...). People are making decisions not only about college, marriage, and careers, but also decisions on whether or not living a holy life is still essential, or if following my calling is still essential. In rationalizing and prioritizing personal secular goals, often our true callings get lost, put on the back burner, or worst - totally forgotten. God is calling His people to arise in these last days and society is tricking young adults into thinking after my career is set or after I'm married, then will I have the time and will be able to focus and fully follow Christ. I keep on thinking of that scripture that says let no man despise thy youth. I know I've lost precious time myself putting personal goals ahead of God's plans. But I'm reminded when Paul talked about redeeming the time. I think Its time for the young adults in the UPC to redeem the time. Young men and Women having a passion to preach, a zeal for ministry and for holiness and the things of God. There is a desperate revival that needs to be birthed out of this particular group in the Apostolic church. And when it has come to fruition. Watch out World! The young adults will sufficiently be doing their part to prepare the way for the Lord in these last days!! We have energy! We have resources! We have the Truth! Go Hyphen!
